Seattle-area shelter animals are gaining a new advocate as Tineco launches Clean Start, a community initiative designed to lower adoption barriers. By partnering with three major local shelters, the smart home appliance manufacturer is funding adoption costs while equipping new owners with targeted cleaning technology and resources.
At the Homeward Pet Adoption Center, Tineco is sponsoring a 16-week program titled Tineco Tuesday to help offset adoption fees and fund behavioral training. The Seattle Animal Shelter will host a signature adoption event under the initiative, while the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) will use the partnership to highlight long-term residents through its existing Worth the Wait program. Tineco intends to scale this regional model into a national rollout by 2027, aiming to bridge the gap between shelter resources and the practical realities of pet ownership.
