Max Hodak and the end of the screen era

Science Corporation is moving beyond theoretical research, having already deployed its PRIMA implant to restore sight in patients with severe vision loss. The system utilizes a camera-equipped pair of glasses that transmits data directly to a retinal chip. With $230 million in Series C funding and a valuation of $1.5 billion, Hodak aims to expand this technology toward treating Parkinson’s disease, managing seizures, and repairing damaged neural cells.

Having cut his teeth in biomedical engineering and as the initial president of Neuralink, Hodak views current interface technology as fundamentally limited. His session at Moscone West will explore how brain-implanted sensors might eventually replace the screens that define modern productivity. Attendees at the October 13-15 event will gain insight into how these advancements could disrupt existing hardware markets and redefine the relationship between machine and mind.
