Porter Capital Secures $5M Facility for Flooring Services Firm

After a market slowdown stifled trade show revenues and forced a bank to terminate its credit line, a flooring services provider has secured a $5 million recourse factoring facility from Porter Capital. The financing allowed the firm to clear $2.9 million in debt and stabilize payroll within ten days.

Porter Capital Secures $5M Facility for Flooring Services Firm

The flooring company, which services global art and auto exhibitions alongside residential clients, faced a liquidity crisis throughout 2025. Canceled events eroded revenue, leading its bank to withdraw support while the company’s credit line remained maxed out. For over a month, the business struggled to staff projects due to the sudden absence of operational cash.

Unlike traditional lenders focused on recent operating losses, Porter Capital evaluated the firm based on its existing receivables and active contracts. By underwriting these assets, Porter provided the necessary capital to retire the firm's prior bank debt and fund pending installations. Since the partnership began in April, the company has stabilized its operations and established a scalable financial structure that expands in proportion to new project volume. This shift follows a period of rigorous vetting, during which the firm chose Porter over several competitors due to the lender's commitment to on-site consultations and direct access to decision-makers.
