Partior and LSEG DiSH partner to automate 24/7 cross-border settlement

Blockchain-based network Partior and LSEG Digital Settlement House (DiSH) have launched a strategic collaboration to integrate always-on settlement bank liquidity into global cross-border payments. The initiative aims to replace fragmented, legacy correspondent banking models with a unified, real-time infrastructure designed to optimize corporate treasury operations.

The partnership introduces a Multi-Settlement Bank (MSB) solution that leverages LSEG DiSH’s omnibus trust account framework alongside Partior’s clearing network. By aligning on shared digital rails, the firms seek to eliminate the inefficiencies of traditional bilateral nostro and vostro accounts, which currently force banks to rely on rigid pre-funding and restrictive payment cut-off times.

This infrastructure allows financial institutions to manage liquidity around the clock, facilitating intraday funding and settlement for FX and Repo transactions. Industry testing is already underway, with commercial onboarding for additional settlement banks scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027.

Industry leaders, including J.P. Morgan’s Kinexys, Deutsche Bank, and Standard Chartered, have signaled support for the platform as a means to bridge the gap between digital and legacy systems. By providing a neutral, third-party orchestration layer, the project creates a blueprint for interbank interoperability, enabling banks to offer corporate clients a more consistent experience without requiring direct integration into every proprietary digital network.
