Paretor and Lumoria Partner to Deploy ETAERION™ in Skincare

Lumoria founder Ginny Vachon, formerly Paretor’s Chief Operating Officer, identified the material's potential during her tenure while observing its interaction with biological systems. She noted that the nanocolloids offer a unique ability to mitigate oxidative stress while serving as a transport mechanism for concentrated active ingredients. Vachon will retain her role as Vice President of Scientific Communications at Paretor while steering the new entity.

The partnership establishes a shared interest in the resulting intellectual property. Under the agreement, Paretor focuses on the reproducible, large-scale manufacturing of ETAERION-based materials, while Lumoria assumes responsibility for commercializing these constructs for skincare markets. Paretor CEO Dustan Bonnin described the model as a strategic delegation, allowing the firm to concentrate on material development while empowering specialized teams to drive niche applications. This venture signals a shift for Paretor, which intends to continue its core research in biological delivery and bioprocessing alongside this dedicated dermatological pipeline.
