The new center serves as a micro-laboratory designed to replicate industrial processing capabilities at a smaller scale. By managing everything from initial product creation to final validation on-site, the company intends to bypass the inefficiencies of external suppliers and fragmented internal departments. The facility is divided into four specialized zones covering research, kitchen applications, and sensory testing, allowing for rapid iteration of healthy protein products tailored to local preferences.
Beyond internal product development, the center acts as a collaborative hub for HORECA partners, enabling the creation of customized menus and food service solutions. While poultry remains a primary focus, the company plans to utilize the platform to explore broader protein categories. This expansion aligns with Tanmiah’s strategy to strengthen local food security and contribute to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives. Group CEO Zulfiqar Hamadani noted that the center would bolster the company's ability to respond to evolving consumer demands while supporting a more self-sufficient agricultural sector.
