Ten-Year-Old Fashion Prodigy Max Alexander Launches Textile Line

The Mood × Max Alexander collection features 15 distinct textiles, ranging from BCI Cotton and European Flax linen to recycled polyester faux fur. Alexander personally selected each material, prioritizing sustainable and low-impact fibers to reflect his design philosophy. The collection highlights his signature "Wings" print, which appears in multiple colorways across the line.

During the launch at the Mood Fabrics flagship store, a Guinness World Records adjudicator confirmed two new titles for the young designer: the youngest person to release a commercial fabric line and the fastest time to thread an automatic sewing machine. These achievements follow his 2026 debut at Paris Fashion Week, where he became the youngest designer to present a collection on that stage.

Alexander, who began sewing at age four, rose to international prominence after his designs went viral during the pandemic. His collaboration with Mood Fabrics—a retailer long associated with Project Runway—seeks to merge high-end aesthetics with accessible, eco-conscious materials. The collection is currently available through the company's online store and at retail locations nationwide.
