ABOSS aims to replace email-based chaos in live music management

While the global live music industry processes over $1 billion in annual deal value, the core infrastructure remains tethered to fragmented email chains and static spreadsheets. Amsterdam-based ABOSS is attempting to overhaul this archaic workflow by positioning its platform as a centralized operating system for agencies and touring artists.

The platform functions through two integrated environments: the Agency Platform for contract and financial management, and Artist Pro for real-time collaboration. By consolidating logistics into a single source of truth, the company intends to capture the margins currently lost to administrative inefficiency. Founder Arvid Silos argues that reliance on manual data entry keeps the industry in a state of operational chaos, preventing teams from scaling effectively.

Despite the clear architectural advantages, adoption of these digital records remains asymmetrical. While ABOSS facilitates significant volume, only 4% of the deal value currently flows through artist-owned records. The company is now pivoting toward the AI era, integrating with platforms like SAPPS to turn raw administrative data into actionable intelligence. By exposing its architecture through an open API, ABOSS hopes to transform back-office record-keeping into a commercial asset, moving beyond simple scheduling to support specialized, data-driven workflows.
