Peter Carlin transitions from Adient board to CFO role
Peter Carlin is vacating his seat on the Adient board of directors to assume the role of executive vice president and chief financial officer. The leadership shift, slated for November 16, 2026, marks the end of Mark Oswald’s tenure as the company’s finance chief and initiates a smaller board structure.

Mark Oswald will depart the organization on the same day Carlin assumes the CFO title. In light of the resignation, Adient’s board will shrink to seven members. The company, which operates approximately 200 manufacturing plants across 29 countries, continues to supply seating systems to major global automotive manufacturers.
