Quantum Computing Inc. plans to unveil a unified security platform that merges quantum key distribution with hardware-based authentication at the ECOC Exhibition 2026 in Málaga, Spain. The live demonstration seeks to move quantum-secured communications out of specialized research labs and into practical, scalable infrastructure for global telecommunications.

This move represents a shift toward room-temperature, wavelength-multiplexed systems capable of operating within existing telecom architectures. Beyond the primary security platform, the company will display adaptable instrumentation designed to help engineers validate quantum concepts in real-world environments. CTO Yong Meng Sua emphasized that the industry now faces the immediate pressure of protecting critical data against quantum and AI-driven risks, rather than treating such security as a distant research objective. The company’s presence at ECOC includes a dedicated presentation on September 23, where leadership will outline how these photonics-based components provide a path toward establishing trust in a post-quantum landscape.
