Searchable Acquires Meridian to Scale AI Visibility in the U.S.

The deal transitions Meridian’s existing client roster—including APL, MedCline, and VKTRY—onto Searchable’s proprietary platform, which tracks brand mentions and citations across 10 major AI engines. With a corpus spanning one billion AI citations and 400 million brand references, Searchable aims to dominate the AEO sector, which helps companies secure placement within AI-generated responses. This move follows a $14 million seed round led by Headline in May 2026, valuing the company at $85 million.

Searchable CEO Chris Donnelly noted that American brands represent the most aggressive segment in the AI visibility race. Meridian co-founder Alex Dees added that integrating with Searchable provides his customers with the advanced tracking tools necessary to navigate how users discover brands through chatbots. The acquisition serves as a cornerstone for Searchable’s growth, as analysts project the AEO market to reach $10.7 billion by 2031.
