Pop Star ADÉLA Turns Chewed Gum Into Wearable Fashion for Charity

Pop star ADÉLA is debuting a collection of five custom stage outfits featuring pieces of resin-encased gum she chewed during tour rehearsals. The garments, created alongside stylist Chris Horan, serve as a sensory-focused extension of the 5 gum brand, designed to bridge the gap between performer and audience during her Red Bottoms Tour.

The collection includes a custom top and shorts accented with gum wrapper fringe, a statement hat, a chain belt, and a modified mic stand. Each piece incorporates the preserved gum to reflect ADÉLA’s performance identity. The singer will debut individual items at tour stops in Nashville, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Denver, and Phoenix, effectively turning each concert into a living gallery for the collaboration.

Following the tour, the pieces will move to an eBay auction running from October 14 through October 24. All proceeds are earmarked for the Save The Music Foundation, which funds music education programs in schools across the United States. Fernando Rodrigues, Marketing Vice President at Mars Snacking North America, noted that the project aligns with the brand's history of disruptive, sensory-focused activations. For ADÉLA, the collaboration offers a way to preserve the energy of a live show, transforming the intangible connection of a performance into a tangible relic for fans.
