John Shapiro Named Chief Product Officer at Ascensus
John Shapiro, a veteran product executive with tenures at Adobe and Intuit, has joined Ascensus as Chief Product Officer. Reporting directly to CEO Nick Good, Shapiro will oversee the firm’s enterprise-wide product vision, tasked with streamlining how the savings platform develops and delivers integrated solutions for its 16 million users.

With over $1.3 trillion in assets under administration, Ascensus is currently shifting toward more unified, outcome-oriented development cycles. Shapiro brings a technical background to the role, holding a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. His previous experience scaling product teams at Wayfair and Adobe is expected to guide the company's efforts to integrate AI and high-touch service models into its existing financial infrastructure.
