Sagent Pharmaceuticals has launched Zyogreen, the first FDA-approved ready-to-use indocyanine green injection available in the U.S. market. By eliminating the time-consuming reconstitution process required for traditional lyophilized powders, the sterile solution offers surgical and imaging teams a more efficient option for fluorescence-guided procedures and diagnostic mapping.
Zyogreen is indicated for a range of clinical applications, including vascular and gastrointestinal surgery, organ transplants, and lymphatic mapping in oncology. Unlike conventional formulations that require preparation at the point of care, this sterile liquid is designed to streamline workflows in operating rooms. The product is suitable for adults and specific pediatric age groups for biliary duct visualization. Sagent is currently distributing the agent through its nationwide network, aiming to improve reliability for hospitals and health systems.
