Tomorrow.Mobility 2026 Focuses on Scaling Urban Transit Solutions

Organized by Fira de Barcelona and EIT Urban Mobility, the congress shifts its focus toward practical implementation. Discussions center on Mobility Data Spaces, the integration of Mobility as a Service (MaaS), and the strategic management of curbside infrastructure to accommodate the rise of autonomous vehicles. The program spans three specialized stages, addressing challenges from battery waste management to the design of resilient, next-generation public transport systems.

Industry leaders scheduled to speak include Lukas Neckermann of Urban Places Lab, Axel Volkery from the European Commission’s DG MOVE, and Teresa Riesgo Alcaide of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. The exhibition floor and Innovation Playground will host companies like Arrive Group, Kentkart, and Moventis, while a dedicated Startup Zone facilitates investment in emerging mobility technologies.

Running concurrently with the Smart City Expo World Congress and the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress, the event is expected to draw over 25,000 visitors to the city. This convergence of five major innovation summits establishes Fira de Barcelona as a primary hub for global urban development strategies.
