Skrobacz’s elevation follows a five-year tenure at the firm, during which he spearheaded the expansion of commercial deposit and lending relationships, integrated treasury management services, and modernized the bank’s digital infrastructure. His career at the institution began in 2021 as chief strategy officer, a role that leveraged his previous experience in regional sales management at NuVasive, Inc. and his academic background from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

John B. Dicus will retain his positions as chairman and chief executive officer, focusing on long-term governance. The leadership transition also prompts a shift in the bank's operational ranks: Sarah Sanders, a twenty-year veteran of the company who rose from bank teller to first vice president, will succeed Skrobacz as executive vice president and chief retail operations officer on the same October date. These changes reflect a broader organizational effort to align executive management with the bank's evolving commercial priorities and competitive landscape in the Kansas market.
