Aligned Modern Health Secures Growth Capital to Expand National Reach

Chicago-based Aligned Modern Health has secured a majority growth investment from Arcventis Health Partners, marking a strategic shift to scale its functional medicine and hormone health platform. Harbour Point Capital, the company’s previous backer, will remain a significant investor as the firm prepares for national telehealth expansion and new clinical services.

The influx of capital is set to accelerate the company’s transition from a regional Midwest leader to a broader national entity. CEO Virginia Materese stated that the partnership will fund investments in the digital patient experience, the recruitment of additional clinical staff, and the expansion of its service footprint. The company currently operates 15 physical clinics in Chicago and maintains a virtual care practice spanning more than 20 states.

Beyond geographic scaling, Aligned Modern Health is diversifying its medical offerings. Following the 2025 rollout of hormone replacement therapy, the firm is now launching peptide therapy to address weight management and age-related health concerns. Materese emphasized that these treatments are integrated into a broader functional medicine framework, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive lifestyle and nutritional oversight rather than isolated prescriptions. Arcventis co-founder Fazeela Abdul Rashid cited the company’s physician-led model and its ability to accept major insurance as key drivers for the investment, noting that the platform sits at the intersection of preventive care and chronic disease management.
