Matthew Boddy Appointed Chief Commercial Officer at Cooper Standard

Boddy steps into the role after serving as vice president of business development for the company’s fluid handling division. In that capacity, he focused on global commercial strategy and expanding the firm's top-line growth. CEO Jeffrey Edwards noted that Boddy’s background in fostering customer relationships and his strategic approach were primary factors in the appointment.

Prior to his tenure at Cooper Standard, Boddy held various leadership roles at industry players including Nemak, Key Safety Systems, and Lear Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in management from Kettering University and a Master of Arts in economics from Walsh College. He now oversees the commercial direction of a company with approximately 22,000 employees operating across 20 countries.
