Horizon Petroleum Begins Testing at Lachowice 7 Well in Poland

Following the installation of a coiled tubing unit and nitrogen circulation, the well achieved a preliminary flow rate of 5.5 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. This output is being measured at a wellhead pressure of 2,500 PSI through a 28/64-inch choke. The current operation involves clearing the formation of water and acid introduced during recent workover efforts, a standard procedure before establishing stabilized production metrics.

Horizon Petroleum expects to maintain variable flow rates over the next 24 to 36 hours to ensure the reservoir stabilizes. Once the cleanup phase concludes, the team will shut in the well for pressure build-up analysis and production logging to pinpoint specific inflow zones. While the L7 well previously demonstrated potential in the 1990s with tests reaching 8.9 million cubic feet per day, management emphasizes that current results remain preliminary. Final assessments regarding the asset's commercial viability await the completion of the full pressure testing program.
