St. Luke's Anderson Campus Gains Level I Trauma Status
The Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation has officially elevated St. Luke's Hospital – Anderson Campus in Easton to a Level I trauma center. Effective October 1, 2026, this designation recognizes the facility's expanded capacity to provide continuous, specialized emergency care for patients suffering from the most critical traumatic injuries.

Accreditation levels reflect a hospital's specific resources and staffing capabilities. By achieving Level I status, the facility demonstrates it can deliver comprehensive, round-the-clock surgical and intensive care. Data suggests that access to such specialized resources significantly lowers the risk of mortality and long-term disability for patients following severe accidents or physical trauma.
