TOYO Secures $240 Million in U.S. Solar Supply Contracts
Since mid-June, TOYO Co., Ltd. has locked in $240 million in binding solar module supply agreements, signaling a shift from manufacturing expansion to active commercial delivery. These contracts, spanning utility-scale to data-center projects, will be fulfilled through the company’s 2 GW production facility in Houston, Texas, through early 2027.
Chief Strategy Officer Rhone Resch described the milestone as a pivot point for the business, moving from the capital-intensive phase of building capacity to a period of contracted revenue generation. By targeting diverse segments including commercial, industrial, and community solar projects, TOYO aims to solidify its position as an integrated manufacturer capable of navigating complex regulatory landscapes. The company intends to leverage this momentum to support a broader, long-term U.S. manufacturing strategy.
