Sheila Denton, a seasoned legal executive with over 25 years of industry experience, has stepped into the role of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Northridge-based MiniMed. Her appointment, effective immediately, marks a strategic leadership shift as the diabetes technology firm navigates its path as an independent public company.
Denton succeeds Courtney Nelson Wills, who exited the organization to pursue other professional interests after a brief transition period. At MiniMed, Denton will oversee the legal framework for the company’s integrated insulin delivery and monitoring ecosystem, which currently serves patients across 80 countries.
