David Hale Appointed General Counsel for CRISP Shared Services
With over 25 years of experience in highly regulated sectors, David Hale joins the nonprofit infrastructure provider CRISP Shared Services and Maryland's state-designated health information exchange as general counsel. He is tasked with overseeing legal strategy, governance, and regulatory compliance as the organization expands its national data exchange footprint.
His career includes a tenure as deputy general counsel at TD Ameritrade and leading the Privacy and Data Security practice at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. A member of the Maryland and New York bars, Hale holds a JD from George Washington University Law School. He will now apply his expertise to support the CSS cloud-native platform, which currently provides health data infrastructure across a dozen U.S. states and territories.
