The platform functions by linking four distinct layers: person verification, product authentication, policy enforcement, and intelligence analytics. By converting user identity into a secure, tokenized format, IKE 2.0 protects sensitive data while ensuring that only eligible users can activate regulated devices. For the nicotine industry, where illicit diversion and youth access remain significant hurdles, the technology provides a mechanism to maintain accountability long after the initial transaction.

Thomas Chen, founding member and head of technology at IKE Tech, noted that compliance cannot end at the cash register. The system is currently undergoing FDA review regarding its age-verification technology, which was submitted as part of a premarket tobacco product application in 2025. Internal studies on the platform’s device-locking capabilities showed a 100% success rate in preventing underage activation among 102 test participants, alongside high adult usability scores.

Beyond nicotine, the company plans to scale its infrastructure into sectors like cannabis, healthcare, and gaming. The architecture is built for strict privacy, utilizing on-device biometric processing and SOC 2 Type II certification to align with GDPR and CCPA standards. IKE Tech, a joint venture between Ispire Technology, Berify, and Chemular, intends to offer the platform as a configurable solution for any market requiring rigorous identity and authenticity standards.
