Joe Ghaben, the force behind Ghaben Auto Group, has acquired Genesis of Glenview, marking a strategic expansion for the Chicago-area dealer. The transaction, facilitated by Performance Brokerage Services, signals a shift for the dealership, which is slated to relocate to a new facility at 2929 Patriot Boulevard in Glenview.
Paul Kechnie and Matt Willis of Performance Brokerage Services served as the exclusive sell-side advisors. Willis highlighted the firm’s focus on selecting a buyer with the financial depth and long-term vision necessary to steward the Genesis brand. This sale follows a period of aggressive activity for the brokerage, which has overseen nearly 450 dealership transitions across North America in the last five years.
