Tokyo-based Advanet has unveiled a trio of industrial computing solutions built on the Renesas RZ/G3L microprocessor. The new lineup—comprising the Adsmc7101 SMARC module, the AdiMB7103 motherboard, and the AdiCS7102 Box PC—is designed to provide a unified, scalable platform for long-lifecycle industrial automation and edge computing projects.
The modular approach is intended to simplify development cycles for sectors including HMI, building automation, and terminal hardware. The company offers support across the entire product lifecycle, from initial system architecture and software integration to final production. To ensure stability for long-term deployments, the family leverages the Renesas Verified Linux Package and the company's Product Longevity Program. Advanet is currently exploring applications for this hardware in the aerospace sector, citing the need for high reliability and continuity of supply as primary drivers for the expansion. All three units are currently available for order, with configurable options supporting up to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC storage.
