Paris-based consultancy Leads To Development has joined the Clarenta Group following a majority investment, a move designed to bridge the gap between preclinical scientific strategy and early-phase clinical research for pharmaceutical sponsors operating within the complex landscape of drug development.
Dr. Chris Smyth, CEO of Clarenta, stated that the acquisition addresses the critical need for sponsors to connect early scientific decisions with the practical realities of clinical trial outcomes. L2D will maintain its headquarters in Paris, operating as a specialist team while leveraging the broader resources and clinical experience of the Clarenta network. According to Jonathan Kearsey, Managing Director and Co-Founder of L2D, the collaboration allows the firm to scale its regulatory and operational support without sacrificing the focused technical approach that has defined its 15-year history.
