OuterSignal Secures $22M to Scale Agentic Customer Intelligence

A surge in demand for personalized commerce has propelled OuterSignal to a $22 million Series A funding round. Co-led by Long Journey Ventures and Abstract Ventures, the capital injection arrives just nine months after the company’s launch, as it scales its platform to manage data for hundreds of millions of consumer orders.

OuterSignal Secures $22M to Scale Agentic Customer Intelligence

The platform functions as an agentic intelligence layer, scraping public context to transform anonymous transaction data into detailed customer profiles. By identifying the individuals behind purchases—from fitness enthusiasts to busy professionals—OuterSignal allows brands to bypass generic marketing templates. This intelligence enables teams to automate bespoke messaging, identify influencers within their existing customer base, and refine acquisition strategies based on real-world personas.

Major consumer brands including AG1, HexClad, and Jones Road Beauty have integrated the technology to bridge the gap between static data and personalized outreach. For companies like HexClad, the tool has served as a discovery engine for identifying high-value creators already interacting with their products. According to CEO Zach Zelner, the new funding will prioritize the expansion of their research engine and the development of generative capabilities that can dynamically create unique communications for every individual consumer. The company plans to grow its engineering and go-to-market teams to support this push into hyper-personalized brand experiences.
