The IDC MarketScape report underscores the platform's longevity, noting that CGI Trade360 has spent two decades evolving to meet the needs of a massive base of 247,000 corporate portal users. The software currently supports 348 bank locations, providing a centralized environment for letters of credit, guarantees, factoring, and syndications. By integrating a vendor-agnostic AI layer, the platform allows financial institutions to deploy specialized tools for document processing and anti-money laundering screening without being tethered to proprietary development cycles.

Maria Adele Di Comite, Research Director at IDC Financial Insights, pointed to CGI's client engagement model as a key differentiator. The company utilizes a structured governance framework, including executive advisory boards and strategic working groups, which grants clients direct influence over the product roadmap. Frank Tezzi, Vice-President of Trade & Payments Solutions at CGI, stated that the firm remains focused on simplifying banking complexity and accelerating the transition toward paperless, digitized environments. This recent industry validation comes as the platform marks its 25th anniversary, reinforcing its position as a primary infrastructure provider for global trade operations.
