CEO Dan Oberste noted that the transition to the world's largest equity exchange reflects the REIT’s current operational focus and aims to bolster returns for stakeholders. BSR Real Estate Investment Trust Plans NYSE Debut
BSR Real Estate Investment Trust is moving to list its units on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol BSRT, aiming to align its trading presence with the scale of its U.S. residential property portfolio. The move, targeted for mid-October, seeks to streamline access for American investors.

The transition involves a broader reorganization of the firm's trading symbols. Upon the NYSE listing, the REIT’s Canadian dollar-denominated units on the Toronto Stock Exchange will shift from HOM.UN to BSRT.UN, while the U.S. dollar-denominated listing, HOM.U, will be delisted. Trading under the current OTCQX symbol, BSRTF, is also set to conclude. The finalization of this strategic shift remains subject to regulatory approval from the SEC and the NYSE, with the company filing its Form 40-F registration statement today.
