Accor is moving to streamline its technology stack following the rationalization of its core systems, including its Property Management System and Central Reservation System. By integrating Mews POS, property teams gain a cloud-native, mobile-first platform that handles menu management, inventory, and real-time reporting without the need for intensive local IT support. According to Jean Noel Lau Keng Lun, Accor’s Chief Distribution Officer, the partnership is part of a broader F&B Technology Program designed to integrate dining experiences more deeply into the company’s guest loyalty ecosystem.

Accor Taps Mews to Unify Global Food and Beverage Tech
Already operational in 850 properties across 20 countries, Mews POS is becoming the cornerstone of Accor's effort to standardize food and beverage technology. The move marks a strategic shift for the hospitality giant, aiming to consolidate systems across its Premium, Midscale, and Economy portfolios to drive total revenue growth.

Richard Valtr, founder of Mews, emphasized that the software is designed to function within an open ecosystem rather than a silo. Unlike standalone point-of-sale solutions, the Mews platform utilizes an open API that allows Accor to bridge the gap between individual dining operations and the broader guest journey. For Accor, which manages a diverse range of brands, the flexibility to adapt technology to local market demands while maintaining a unified backend is a critical step in maximizing profitability across its global estate.
