Leesburg-based Resonant Clinical Solutions has acquired Germany’s Labfish, a specialized provider of laboratory equipment rentals and calibration services. The move integrates Labfish’s Hamburg-based operations into Resonant’s global supply chain framework, significantly expanding its footprint in Europe and enhancing its technical logistics capabilities for complex international clinical trials.
Christophe Berthoux, CEO of Resonant, noted that the acquisition aligns with the company’s strategy to support the full clinical trial lifecycle. For Labfish founder Martin Forster, the merger provides a platform to scale the specialized warehouse and calibration services his team developed over the past decade. While financial details remain undisclosed, the deal signals a strategic push by Resonant to meet the rising demand for white-glove logistics in an increasingly complex pharmaceutical research landscape.
