AXIA Time Launches Official Commemorative Watch for 2026 Philly Marathon
A 38 mm Swiss-made automatic watch, designed with direct input from runners, has been named the official timepiece of the 2026 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend. The release commemorates the race alongside the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary, blending Greek heritage with local Philadelphia landmarks to honor the commitment behind the finish line.
John Kanaras, founder and CEO of AXIA Time, described the watch as a physical anchor for the months of training and personal sacrifice required to compete. Race director Kathleen Titus noted that the collaboration aims to capture the specific sense of place inherent in the Philadelphia course. The first 250 units will be individually numbered, and the collection will be showcased at an installation titled “Every Second Got You Here” during the event’s upcoming Expo at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
