The transaction was co-led by institutional heavyweights Wellington and T. Rowe Price. These firms typically secure stakes in private companies with the long-term goal of holding them through an eventual public listing. For the four-year-old startup, this secondary offering serves as a strategic retention tool, helping the company secure top-tier talent in an increasingly competitive AI labor market.

ElevenLabs valuation hits $22 billion following secondary share sale
Voice AI developer ElevenLabs has doubled its valuation to $22 billion, marking a sharp rise from the $11 billion figure recorded just months ago in February. The jump follows a $300 million tender offer designed to provide liquidity to employees by allowing them to offload a portion of their vested equity.

This represents the second time the company has authorized such a payout. In September 2025, ElevenLabs facilitated a $100 million tender at a $6.6 billion valuation. Founded in 2022, the New York and London-based firm has gained significant market traction for its ultra-realistic voice synthesis and sound generation tools. With this latest valuation, the startup firmly establishes itself among the most valuable private technology companies in Europe.
