SKF Shareholders Approve Vertevo Spin-off Ahead of December Listing
Shareholders at AB SKF have officially greenlit the distribution of the company’s automotive subsidiary, SKF Vertevo AB, clearing the path for a December stock market debut. The move effectively separates the automotive bearing business, marking a significant structural shift for the Gothenburg-based industrial giant.

The board has been authorized to set the record date for the distribution, which is currently slated for 27 November 2026. Trading of SKF Vertevo shares on Nasdaq Stockholm is expected to commence on 1 December 2026. Prior to the listing, the company will publish a formal prospectus in November and host a Capital Markets Day in Stockholm on 17 November to detail its future strategy. Following this distribution, SKF will reclassify its Automotive segment as discontinued operations in its financial reporting.
