Ghiz arrives at a pivotal juncture for the medical technology firm. His background in scaling clear aligner treatments is viewed by Neuromod CEO Dr. Ross O'Neill as a blueprint for transforming how ENT and audiology clinics manage tinnitus care. During his tenure at Align Technology, Ghiz helped build a $10 billion market, a trajectory Neuromod aims to mirror as it navigates a landscape of recent regulatory approvals and clinical validation.

Neuromod Recruits Align Technology Veteran to Scale Tinnitus Treatment
With 740 million people worldwide suffering from tinnitus, Dublin-based Neuromod Devices is looking to replicate the commercial success of Invisalign. The company has tapped former Align Technology executive Joe Ghiz as Chief Commercial Officer, tasking him with expanding global access to its non-invasive Lenire device.

Joining Ghiz is Shannon Basham, who steps into the role of VP of Channel Development. Basham brings over two decades of hearing care experience, most recently serving as Senior Director of Audiology for the Sonova Group. Her expertise in clinical training and commercializing hearing aid technologies, including her work on the Lyric device, is expected to streamline the integration of Lenire into standard clinical practice. By securing leadership with deep roots in both dental-style market disruption and traditional audiology, Neuromod is signaling a shift toward aggressive international scaling.
