Eve Wellness Expands AI-Driven Breast Screening to Walnut Creek

Starting October 15, residents of Walnut Creek will gain direct access to radiation-free breast screenings as Eve Wellness opens its second Bay Area clinic. The facility bypasses the traditional referral system, offering 20-minute 3D ultrasound sessions analyzed by FDA-approved artificial intelligence for a flat fee of $349.

Eve Wellness Expands AI-Driven Breast Screening to Walnut Creek

The new site at 1844 San Miguel Drive arrives during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a period underscored by American Cancer Society projections of over 321,000 new invasive breast cancer diagnoses in the U.S. this year. Since launching its initial San Francisco location in 2022, the company has screened more than 4,000 patients, identifying 41 cases of cancer, including 16 in women under 40.

Eve Wellness utilizes GE HealthCare's Invenia ABUS technology, specifically designed for supplemental screening in patients with dense breast tissue. Each scan is processed through QView Medical's QVCAD software, an AI tool that Medical Director Dr. Ian Grady credits with high detection accuracy over the past three years. While the service provides rapid results—typically within 48 hours—the company notes that diagnostic biopsies and final clinical confirmations remain the responsibility of external medical providers.
