Zhone Technologies Acquires Tellabs Access to Expand Fiber Portfolio
Plano-based Zhone Technologies finalized its acquisition of Tellabs Access, LLC, a move designed to consolidate two major players in the fiber access and Optical LAN sectors. While the financial terms remain undisclosed, the deal integrates Tellabs’ extensive federal and enterprise customer base into Zhone’s existing global networking infrastructure operations.
