ALKEME Insurance Adds Three Regional Agencies to National Portfolio

ALKEME Insurance has expanded its national footprint through the acquisition of three specialized agencies across Arizona, Connecticut, and Kansas. The move, finalized during the third quarter of 2026, integrates established local expertise into ALKEME’s commercial, personal lines, and employee benefits divisions to bolster its reach in key U.S. markets.

The acquisitions include Phoenix-based Ambassador Group, a hospitality insurance specialist operating since 1989; Southington’s Thomson Financial Services, which focuses on employee benefits and Medicare; and C&W Insurance Agency, a retail provider serving Manhattan, Kansas. These additions align with ALKEME’s strategy of absorbing high-performing, niche-focused firms rather than generalist brokerages.

CEO Curtis Barton noted that the value lies in the depth of local expertise each team brings to the broader organization. David DeLorenzo, founder of Ambassador Group, cited access to expanded carrier relationships and national resources as primary drivers for the integration. Since its 2020 inception, ALKEME has executed over 95 acquisitions, currently maintaining a presence in more than 35 states as it scales toward a top-tier national brokerage position.
