CM Injury Trial Lawyers Adopts Parambil AI for Complex Case Review

Philadelphia-based boutique CM Injury Trial Lawyers has integrated the Parambil AI platform into its workflow to manage complex medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases. Founded by former Kline & Specter partners Frank Mangiaracina and Michael Cavaliere, the firm aims to leverage technology to gain a decisive information advantage in high-stakes litigation.

The firm, which launched in Conshohocken this August, utilizes the AI-driven tool to process vast quantities of medical records while maintaining strict attorney oversight. Rather than automating legal judgment, the platform functions as an analytical layer designed to identify standard-of-care deviations that might otherwise be overlooked in dense case files. Mangiaracina emphasized that the software does not replace the firm's hands-on approach to discovery, but rather removes the constraints previously imposed by the sheer volume of documentation.

Michael Cavaliere noted that the shift in their practice model is less about speed and more about depth of preparation. By the time the firm enters a courtroom, they aim to possess a more comprehensive command of the medical evidence than any opposing counsel. This technology-forward strategy is overseen by Director of Technology Michael Smith, a former Moderna executive who previously led Phase I clinical manufacturing for COVID-19 vaccines. Smith views the integration as a structural decision, comparing the firm’s design to industrial quality-control processes where accuracy is engineered into the system from the outset. Parambil CEO Sara Cordrey cited the partnership as a indicator of broader shifts in how plaintiff firms approach complex litigation.
