The Florida-based company, co-founded by Dobrianskyi alongside Kostiantyn Gitko and Vadym Zotov, targets the gap between traditional short-term rentals and rigid long-term financing. By listing used inventory on its platform, the startup generates revenue by taking a 10% commission from both the dealership and the customer. Currently bootstrapped, the team plans to scale to 100 dealerships and $300,000 in first-year revenue once their proprietary insurance program launches later this year.

MyMonthlyCar aims to monetize idle dealership inventory
Igor Dobrianskyi sees 76,000 U.S. car dealerships as a vast, untapped resource of depreciating assets. His startup, MyMonthlyCar, connects these idle vehicles with drivers seeking flexible, month-to-month rentals, offering dealers a potential path to convert long-term renters into final buyers through a rent-to-own model.

Dobrianskyi, who previously launched the European peer-to-peer marketplace SizeCar, views insurance as the primary hurdle for dealer adoption. The company is currently refining its platform and intends to raise a seed round to accelerate development, including an AI tool designed to help dealers optimize which vehicles to prioritize for rental. The startup has been selected for the 2026 Startup Battlefield 200 and will present at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco this October.
