BentoBox Founder Krystle Mobayeni Joins Slang AI Board

Mobayeni spent over a decade refining technology for the hospitality sector, culminating in the 2021 acquisition of BentoBox by Fiserv. Her experience navigating the transition from early-stage innovation to essential industry infrastructure aligns with Slang AI’s current trajectory. The company focuses on automating restaurant phone lines, aiming to reduce operational friction for staff while maintaining guest service standards.

CEO Alex Sambvani noted that Mobayeni’s background provides a unique perspective on the intersection of guest experience and digital tools. Currently an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Female Founders Fund, Mobayeni views voice-enabled AI as the next critical step in allowing restaurant teams to prioritize in-person service. Slang AI, founded in 2019, intends to leverage this expertise to expand its reach across multi-location brands.
