EastGroup Properties Expands Board with Two New Appointments
EastGroup Properties, Inc. has officially increased its board of directors to nine members, appointing Bethany Logan Ropa and Robyn R. Werner to the governing body effective October 1, 2026. The move shifts the company’s leadership composition, as eight of the nine directors now serve in independent roles.
Robyn R. Werner joins the company following a long tenure at Ernst & Young LLP, where she served as an Assurance Partner until her retirement in 2025. A Certified Public Accountant, Werner specialized in auditing public real estate investment trusts and held various leadership positions focused on the construction and hospitality sectors. Donald F. Colleran, Chairman of the Board, noted that these appointments are intended to diversify the board's existing industry expertise and support the company's broader strategic goals.
