Aikido Security Secures FedRAMP Moderate Authorization via Knox Systems

By bypassing a traditional three-year authorization cycle, Aikido Security has secured FedRAMP Moderate status in just months through a strategic partnership with Knox Systems. This certification allows the Boston-based developer to deploy its unified security platform across U.S. federal agencies, targeting vulnerabilities in code, cloud, and runtime environments.

Aikido Security Secures FedRAMP Moderate Authorization via Knox Systems

The partnership leverages the federal managed cloud infrastructure operated by Knox Systems to meet stringent compliance requirements without the typical multi-million-dollar overhead. Aikido’s platform, which already monitors software supply chains and AI-generated code for over 100,000 teams globally, is now positioned to provide federal entities with continuous vulnerability management.

Johan de Keulenaer, Global Head of Partnerships at Aikido, noted that the collaboration allows the company to maintain an isolated, purpose-built environment for government clients while focusing on developer-friendly security tools. Irina Denisenko, CEO of Knox Systems, emphasized that the accelerated compliance path is vital for agencies aiming to maintain software resilience against modern cyber threats. This milestone marks a significant step in Aikido’s ongoing expansion into the U.S. market, following its rapid growth as a European cybersecurity provider.
