The resort’s season opens with a Winter Wonderland event featuring a tree lighting ceremony, a 30-winery expo, and live performances by VocaLibre. Throughout December, the property transforms its 7,000-acre lakeside campus into an immersive holiday venue. Notable events include the Jingle Bell Express train experience, a Charlie Brown-themed breakfast, and the Sounds of the Season concert featuring Dave Madden and McKenna Michels.

For those seeking active engagement, the inaugural Holiday Pickleball Classic runs December 4–6. The tournament features instruction from world-ranked players Lina Padegimaite and Zane Navratil, marking the resort’s expansion into competitive holiday programming. Guests can round out the year with tailored New Year’s Eve events, offering separate celebrations for teens and children alongside a traditional midnight gala for adults. Access to these events is reserved for resort guests and members of The Club at Horseshoe Bay, with rates beginning at $274 per night. Families may also utilize the "Kids Stay, Eat & Play Free" package, which provides complimentary meals and activities for children under 12.
