Tanya Zuckerbrot Ends Six-Year Legal Battle Against Emily Gellis

After six years of litigation, Tanya Zuckerbrot has secured a settlement against fashion influencer Emily Gellis over a sustained social media campaign. The resolution forces Gellis to issue a public video apology and provide $240,000 in restitution, marking a formal end to a conflict that dismantled the F-Factor brand.

The settlement concludes a dispute sparked by Gellis’s aggressive online crusade, which involved over 50,000 posts and stories targeting Zuckerbrot. In her public apology, Gellis admitted that the allegations—ranging from product safety concerns to claims of criminal misconduct—lacked any verified scientific or expert basis. Zuckerbrot, who spent two decades building her nutrition practice, described the campaign as a systematic effort to destroy her reputation through harassment that extended into her private life.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gellis is required to pay $240,000 in monthly installments over 40 years to cover Zuckerbrot’s trauma treatment costs. Furthermore, Gellis must keep an apology video pinned to her Instagram profile for three and a half years. While the campaign previously pressured retailers and brand partners to sever ties with the company, Zuckerbrot is now shifting her focus toward a 2027 relaunch of F-Factor. She plans to return to the evidence-based nutritional work that defined her career before the litigation began.
