Albuquerque Inventor Debuts Bear Besties for Teething and Burping

With roughly 3.5 million infants born annually in the United States, an Albuquerque-based inventor is targeting the nursery market with a dual-purpose solution. The Bear Besties toy aims to streamline the taxing process of infant care by combining gum-soothing features with a mechanical design that assists in burping.

The device mimics the rhythmic patting motion traditionally performed by parents to help infants release trapped gas. Beyond its function as a burping aid, the toy doubles as a textured teething accessory. The inventor developed the product to provide a multipurpose, user-friendly tool for caregivers managing the discomfort of teething and digestive issues in toddlers.

Currently represented by the Chicago office of InventHelp, the invention is available for licensing or acquisition by manufacturers. Parties interested in the product, identified as CHK-6025, may contact the firm’s Pittsburgh headquarters via their submission services department.
