Halfpricesoft Updates ezAccounting with IRS-Authorized 941 eFile

With the November 2, 2026, quarterly tax deadline approaching, Redmond-based Halfpricesoft.com has released its updated ezAccounting 2026 software. The new version integrates an IRS-authorized eFile feature designed to automate the filing process for small businesses, HR departments, and independent accountants struggling with complex tax reporting requirements.

The software update focuses on streamlining payroll compliance by allowing users to submit Form 941, 940, and other 94x documents directly through the application interface. Beyond the eFile capability, the suite handles full payroll processing, including check printing and the generation of W-2 and W-3 forms. The platform supports multi-company management under a single installation and maintains compatibility with Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, and various server environments.

"Our goal is to make payroll and tax compliance as seamless and cost-effective as possible for small businesses," said Dr. Ge, founder of Halfpricesoft.com. The company offers a 30-day trial of the full software version to allow users to test the interface and functionality before committing to a license. Pricing for the software is set at $199 per calendar year for a single-user license, while the optional eFile submission service starts at $5.95 per form, with volume-based discounts available for higher-frequency filers.
