Ferass Abuzaina Named Worldwide President of BD Surgery
Becton, Dickinson and Company has elevated Ferass Abuzaina to worldwide president of its Surgery business unit, effective immediately. Operating from the division's Warwick, Rhode Island headquarters, Abuzaina will oversee the unit’s global strategic and commercial performance, reporting directly to Interventional segment president Peter Menziuso.
His technical background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering, complemented by an MBA from the University of Connecticut. In this new capacity, he is tasked with sustaining the growth trajectory of the Surgery unit while continuing to integrate new clinical solutions into the company’s broader medical technology portfolio.
