The platform added 160 million new installs this year, marking a 13% increase in daily active users compared to 2025. Among the most sought-after passages, Psalm 91 currently holds the top spot, underscoring a widespread desire for spiritual stability. YouVersion Data Reveals Global Surge in Search for Comfort
With daily engagement hitting 18.5 million users in 2026, the YouVersion Bible App has recorded a significant rise in searches for solace. As users navigate personal struggles, terms such as "anxiety," "hope," and "healing" have dominated search queries, reflecting a global trend of turning to digital scripture for refuge.

Founder and CEO Bobby Gruenewald noted that the ministry aims to capitalize on this momentum by expanding its reach through both digital features and physical installations. In a move to bring scripture into high-traffic public spaces, the organization plans to feature content in New York’s Times Square, London’s Piccadilly Circus, and the Dotonbori District in Osaka. These efforts are supported by a vast network of 45,000 global partners, including churches and publishers, to provide access to 3,800 Bible versions in 2,400 languages across regions like Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
